Diesel. Differences in structure are primarily caused by increased moisture content in the diesel fuel and the sensitivity of the apparatus. In the process of purification water, having a high density is deposited on the bottom of the filter and then removed from the system. Some models come with heating for preventing the formation of paraffins in the fuel at low temperatures.

Air filters can fail if the crankcase ventilation system is faulty, allowing oil into it. Cracks and deformation of the product may be caused by excessive pressure exerted during installation.
